I like the look of the Mk1 MX5, mainly because it looks like a Lotus Elan, but at 6'5" I doubt I'd fit in it either. It was only due to a couple of lucky coincidences that I was able to get in my TR7.

My best mate has a mk1 MX5. Lovely car. British racing green colour.
I can get into it ok, but I sort of have to slide out of it onto the pavement. Not very elegant I can assure you.

We had the Mk2. In addition to my wife, myself, wife’s guitar, we got 90 bottles of wine in it on one occasion coming home from a European jaunt. Plus of course, wife’s suitcase of clothing, and, my carrier bag of clothing, in boot. ;)

Doesn't the 206 have an awkwardly sited clutch pedal with no room to its side for your left foot. One if the things that puts me off a car having suffered it on a Mk2 Punto which got sold very quickly.

The Triumph Slag is quite spacious. In the Army the adjutant once managed to squeeze seven of us into his on the way back from the pub one night, although I do seem to recall someone may have travelled in the boot.
