She's not a rider though. But you might get a set of Allen keys on the cheap.
Feel sorry for her.....hardly the Great Train Robbery ! Things you have to do for your team 🙄

Some quite serious sanctions

Danny Van Haute [team DS] was found to be the main perpetrator and was sanctioned with a suspension from any activity in cycling until 31 December 2025 as well as a fine.

Moira Barrett [mechanic] played an active role in the fraud by wearing a rider’s clothes and attempting to sign the start sheet as the team’s fifth rider. She was sanctioned with a suspension from any activity in cycling until 1st September 2024.

Sounds like a wizard wheeze to me.
Didn't the Nigel Mansell cycling team use one of the cycling commentators for a stage of a race a few years back ? The guy hung in with the bunch for a bit so didn't disgrace himself.

Tashkent are going to Le Tour!!!!

But is all as it seems ...

Tashkent acquired the majority of their UCI points at the Uzbekistan National Championships, racing both the elite and under-23 races where they had riders fill up the top-10 positions in almost every race. This means that they were able to gain 709 points at those National Championships (almost half of their total for the year). It’s worth noting that these National Championships also caused plenty of controversy due to claims of the entire race allegedly being fabricated by the national federation in order to help the country gain points (as reported here by the Global Peloton). These points weren't deducted by the UCI, however.

Probably a more forthright commentary here:

Are we doing La Vuelta Femenina in this thread or somewhere else?

Popular win for Canadian fruitcake Alison Jackson today. Just watched it on D+

Nike have a very poor reputation for working with female athletes. This makes me uncomfortable.

What do you mean?

"You are a great athlete. We will give you lots of money to promote our products. We are so proud of you.

Oh, your pregnant? Get lost you waste of space."

Something like that?

Vollering back to convincing winner in the Vuelta. Will be interesting to see if anyone can trump her. If not she'll be the favourite for the TdF.
