Nope. I absolutely refuse to get on the bike when it's really windy!
I hate fighting it and the side gusts etc.

What do you call bad wind conditions?
Tackled a 25mph head wind for the 17mile commute the other day- that made for some grimacing.

Yeah it's pretty bad here in barnsley. if I think "would I run in this" then I go. But today I wouldn't even consider it. On a work commute I guess I'd not have the choice.

I just came back from a 1 hr training ride and moaned about the gusts and headwind. It slowed me down and confused my effort levels on a route I do daily.

Unfortunately my colleague who I told (who is even more mad about cycling than me) looked out the window rather puzzled - no evidence of wind visible.

But it is there.

When I was racing I did so in all weathers, so I trained in all weathers now though it maybe turbo, or I am lucky enough to have nice forest nearby with a 15 minute circular route in it, this is just 5 minutes on a muddy track from my back garden.

Answer is the same to your previous thread re rain. Where I live I'd not get a lot done if I let rain or wind spoil things.
I try my very best to apply rule 5 ^_^

Puzzle game procrastinator!
Some winds are dangerous (severe sudden gusting crosswinds) and some are ridiculously hard (20+ mph headwinds) - I try to avoid them, but do get caught out occasionally. The forecast for here tomorrow is for 14 mph winds and I intend to go out in them, adjusting my choice of route to suit the conditions when I set off. I will choose a route which gives me a tailwind for the main climb of the day.
