Yep, nice  I am SRAM fan, if I needed another bike, it would be on my list ...lush blue colour too. Only appear to have a 55cm or 60cm though, unless I am missing something

Well well well... I tried the Trek and a Genesis Equilibrium 20.
Trek was very tempting on looks alonr. When i first saw it i thought WOW much better the rubbish pics on website. This is it i thought.

But then on test rides... Yes 'rides'.,, i went out FIVE times on them.., i was sooo stretched to reach handlebars on Trek... Why?? Only a 56 frame. My Higher Back/ shoulders moaning straight away. Couldn't believe it. Guys at Evans lowered saddle, moved it fwd a bit, even flipped stem so it pointed upwards. That all helped, and i was soooo trying to convince myself that it was 'ok'... But it just felt wrong. And w higher handlebars it was like a 'hybrid'. Not good.

After 100yds on the Genesis it felt like WOW WHAT IS THIS?? fitted like a glove. Zero discomfort. Hands moulded on brake hoods. No back pain. Ok, not the best looker, but every time i tried the tweaked Trek, the Genesis erased the memory. I had to accept at the end the genesis was immensely superior. Soo smooth, 105 mech spot on (saw no difference between my current Claris and Trek's Tiagra, just like bag of spanners). In the end it was clear i could happily keep riding the genesis all day.

I even asked for other bikes to see I didn't suffer an anti-Tre effect. A Speesh Tarmac on 56 and Fuji on 54 frames. Nice looking, big round tubing, oversized bot braket etc, but not the same feel. Tarmac was like the Wilier, nice and fast, but i know my shoulders wouldn't last long.

Instead there is some magic from the steel frame, it is just spot on. The test route went over bad tarmac and it just glide through. Very happy now. Best thing was Evans honoured the trade in agreement (which expired last Mon), so knocked off £100 of genesis price by giving them my son's little bike, AND allowed me to use c2w

Did you get the cream genesis or last years very lovely copper beauty which Evans are flogging off, but only in a 54 I think now? You can fit a rack to the genesis but you'll need to use p clips, get Evans to do it, as it's a pig of a job as @jefmcg will attest! Sks chromoplastic mudguards fit happily

I have 2 Wiliers - an Izoard and a Zero 9. Both cracking bikes. Comfortable to ride and good handling. Both have been faultless so far with just usual replacement tyre, brake blocks, etc. Nice bikes and a wee bit different from all the Treks, Giants, Specialized, etc

Lucky, lucky chap.

I really wanted the Cento Uno Superleggera Pettachi & found the frame in my size & heavily discounted at Sigma Sports but I still just couldn't raise that kind of cash that quickly so sadly missed out.

, just so you know what you have missed, here's mine (totally off spec)

What a stunner!
So, what spec is it? How much does it weigh now? How does it compare with the original spec ride-wise?

I own a 2011 izoard XP - and i can't recommend it highly enough - fast, comfortable and looks amazing coupled with italian heritage.

I paid £1900 for mine and you can get same bike with campag veloce for £1250 now - so great value for money

only think you may ipgrade is wheels in near future as factory spec are heavy.

Buy it but get size right - you can easily get a large off internet if needed...I am 5.9 with 31 inside leg and large frame is perfect if that helps

also get campag groupset - you can't put jap components on an italian frame
