I've been in the back garden (and B&Q) replacing some steps that finally gave up over the winter. The ride is planned for tomorrow when I get to wear my brand new DHB shoes

Been out this morning in glorious sunshine cycling along the countryside roads breathing in the fresh manure from the fields and quiet tranquility.............

I did a 9 mile walk on part of the Pennine Way yesterday and tripped over strolling down a grassy bank so I've got a sore ankle and back today. I'm taking it easy because a bunch of us are doing a fairly hilly 57 mile forum ride tomorrow.

But yes - the weather is nice here today too!

Been out for a 50miler this morning.... was frosty and 0deg C when I started off, lovely sunshine (but still cold) when I got home. Been up some nice big hills, and it was very cold/blowy on the tops.

Had a nice ride to Brum and back from Walsall, 12 miles each way. Nice to see so many out on their bikes, especially the parents with the kids, and pulling trailers.

Decided to do the canal way and break out the Kraken, as it hasnt seen any use since I cleaned it up to sell it, sorta glad no one bought it now.

It aint `arf funny getting used to seeing a 2 inch wide tyre after getting used to a 23mm!

I went with my gf to New Cross to look at a bike (for her). £70 for a 70s peugeot Amsterdam-style bike. It was a rust bucket; I told her not to buy it. She didn't. I wish she cared more about the bike than the "look"!

Here for rides.
six nations weekend. only rugby is more dear to my heart than cycling, and this morning I had a pile of DIY tasks to sort out.
