Who watches the Boat Race?

My daughter's friend started at Oxford this year, she lives three doors away from us, her mum is a teacher and her dad works in the local council office.

Not working class salt of the earth costermongers, but not exactly hooray Henrys either.

And I'm definitely not posh, but my daughter was encouraged to apply to Cambridge by one of her college lecturers, unfortunately circumstances got in the way of that and she's probably going to Manchester instead.

Let's hope it's back in London next year. If it isn't maybe they can get the sponsors or the Universities to pay for the costs of policing it.

I/we 'used' to watch it every year and bet a few pennies on the outcome.
For some reason I stooped watching but will put it on later.
