I cannot believe how spread out they are tbh. The seem to have covered alot of ground since yesterday morning when they were a long way south of Haworth.

~100 miles in 24 hours, I can scarcely believe it.
But my best wishes go out to those at the back, less than half that distance. They could be going for 5 days. I hope they make the time cut.

If I was walking it, I’d just be leaving Crowden this morning. Even the back markers are well ahead of anything you’d ordinarily do. In winter as well!

I started 'dotwatching' after reading this post and being fairly local drove to the finish yesterday and walked back up the Penine Way to cheer on some of the stragglers.

Ramon Bermo USA, Kate Farley GB. These two looked in reasonable shape, some we passed looked fit to drop.

Lovely day for a walk. Mine was about 259 miles less than theirs.
