Had my bike (which is white) for a year now, and still looks like new, just give it a quick wipe over after each ride just the white bar tape gets a bit dirty, but some baby wipes soon gets the bar tape clean.

That won't be a worry as its black bar tape.

I have a white/black/red TCX1 and it is very easy to keep clean tbh. I drive mine along muddy bridleways etc on a regular basis and a quick hose down whilst the dirt is still fresh brings it up a treat.

I also tend to coat everything that might corrode with ACF50 wich does get a bit black with dirt but it easily wipes off.

End of the day it is just a bike that serves a purpose - it's not something to sit on the mantelpiece and admire over a glass of Chablis is it.

NB: personal choice but I think the light green Defy is a hot looking little number.

I have a white hybrid which looks pretty sweet when clean and sparkly and a black defy which seems to show every greasy fingerprint!! So really i think they all need regular cleaning if you want a nice shiny steed!!

Love my white bike. Wouldn't have it any other colour.

My Cube is predominately white and it seems to clean up easy enough. I see it as the white shows up the marks, so I know where to clean.

Mr6 has a white and red giant defy, and he rarely cleans it, but you'd never know. It is still pretty shiny.
I have a white specialized vita and I clean it all the time, but that's because I have bike cleaning issues. I also have a white and black cube analogue. White bikes all the way!
It's not like white fabric that gets grubby, it's no harder to keep clean than any other colour bike.
