Which is the best wheel set - Bontrager RL vs Mavic Ksyrium Elite S?

This is just a quick question as to whether I keep the bontrager RL that came with my bike or replace them with some mavic ksyrium elite S wheels that I bought off a mate a while back

Any advice would be great!

Well I have been using the RL but swapped to the mavics and only ridden them once ,don't tempt me cuchilo haha

So, you have two sets of wheels to choose from and want advice as to which ones to ride?
That begs the question why you bought the extra set in the first place. Why did you and what did you think you would gain from the other wheels?

Well I bought the wheels for a previous bike to replace the stock wheels,when I sold the bike a took the wheels off,now I am just wondering which of the two wheel sets are the better quality...

I don't know the Bontrager RL wheels so I cannot comment on them however I have rebuilt a few sets of mavic ksyrium. I think they are good wheels, the rims are stiff and light. hubs seem to be pretty reliable. The trouble is when you need to fix them, not easy to find components and they come at a cost. For the weight of the wheels they are pretty stiff and they should last quite well. One guy I rebuilt a set for, owns a few sets already and he was quoted silly money to rebuild the set but he imported the rims from the USA for £230 - £250 and I rebuilt the wheels for him. I did another set for him after that. I had done a couple of sets before that and the same story, it takes a while to find the components that need replacing.

If I am understanding you correctly, you currently own both these sets of wheels - and you are asking us which set is best? Have you not ridden either? Surely in your position, you should be able to tell us which set is best.

Yeah. Like which set is more responsive, which one seems to accelerate like lightning more than the other, which set is more compliant yet rigid, and which pair just feel better?
