My Pinarello 3.13 is my Sunday bike - it has never seen rain and it never will. My much upgraded and very light Giant Advanced is my "event" and summer bike. My own build Kinesis is my everyday and wet weather audax bike. I have a Cross bike for exploring the hills off-road, forestry tracks and general dirty places where I live in Mid-Wales. I have a cheapo internet special on my turbo trainer and another tarted up cheapo internet special visitors' flat bar and flat pedal hybrid bike for those folks foolish enough to come and stay without bringing their own.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
2 Road bikes - use the one with raceguards when its raining/has rained/is going to rain, or puddles everywhere, otherwise the other one!

If I'm going out for a long road ride the Road Bike. If I am off road the MTB. As the MTB currently has flat pedals it is also my pop to the shops bike (even though it is 7 times more expensive than the road bike).

1980s (guess) Carlton Pro 531 - converted to Fixed. Short shopping trips, up to 50km rides with the kids, occasional outings with MacB

2011 Van Nicholas Yukon. Audax, club runs, having fun. has more or less replaced:
1987 Dawes Galaxy, modified with modern "Shimergo" drive train & handbuilt wheels - which is now used for FNRttC and any hilly local rides where I CBA to ride the fixed.

MTB project - still collecting bits for this.

Choice of 4 for me, depending on circumstances, it usually goes like this...
Bianchi C2C, longer rides, commuting in the summer (not surprisingly, its my best bike, the one i want to ride most)
Raleigh Clubman, winter commuter or if its raining in the summer.
Trek 7100FX, gets used if i'm going to local shops or if i'm just having a ride around with the wife in a country park say.
Also got an unbranded alloy MTB that i built up for my son. Looks like a hack but very smooth and reliable, i'll use that for short trips to the shops, or as this morning, a couple mile ride to the butchers van in high'ish winds. The 42/32/22 chainset makes for relaxed riding in wind, so its just the job

I'd love to ride the MTB - I'm sure I would .... really - but the road bike just calls to me every time I walk into the garage.

Ridgeback Delta 15 yo hybrid comfy for short distances and on rougher terrain. Used for work and locking and leaving for a few hours, and if its miserable and likely to pee it down.

Ridgeback Panorama .. all other times

Could do with something a bit lighter for day rides but at least the Panorama as the gearing, quite fancy the idea of a recumbent but no storage space.
