Where's your workshop

Just put laminate floor down in mine, had the clip together rubber matts, they were ok for a few years, but the laminate is easier to keep clean.

For large or dirty jobs the workshop is the garage, for the rest, there's another workshop in the small bedroom.

Your vice is positioned so that the bench top prevents you from holding anything that extends below it.

I must admit in all the years I've had it there I've never once thought, darn it this vice is positioned so that the bench top prevents me from holding anything that extends below it.

I'll be sure to look into it though if ever that occurs.

Got rid of the gas heater, replaced with a Chinese diesel heater, works really well can be turned on and off remotely. but i will not be running it unless i am in the workshop, i thought it would be noesier than it is. very impressed with it, looking forward to a cold day in the den to try it properly. got it for £58.90 on black friday.
