Where's Gaz?

I wasn't after anything specific, I just wondered if he still looks at this site?
TBH he doesn't but that's purely down to his struggles in accepting the loss of cycling in his life, but he has promised to try and pop in when he feels mentally strong enough :okay:

Would you pass on my best wishes as well please?

He might remember me as the bloke who picked up a frame for him from Oswestry and gave it to him at work a few years ago.

His inability to cycle really has been a tremendous loss for Gaz. So much so he even tried riding again a few months ago but within 50 yards needed medical attention after falling! So you can see his determination is solid, but everything else is letting him down just now.
He's still fighting the good fight, still desperately missing life on two wheels but he's still always optimistic that he'll be back one day.
Never say never :okay:

Could you suggest to him that he could try a three-wheeled 'bent: it might help with balance issues.

Best wishes to him.

Best wishes to him.

TBH I think it's more of a strength thing, (or rather an MS related lack thereof), that is the main problem as far as cycling goes, but a bent will of course negate any strength requirements regarding balance so I will mention it of course Dayvo :okay:

Sorry to bring up such an old topic.

I'm back!

Unfortunately I'm not cycling and haven't for many years because of multi disabilities, but I'm back losing weight, beating my eating disorders and always a fan of cycling, even if it's just watching these days

I ballooned to around 26 stone once I lost my health, I'd not fully fixed my eating disorder and didn't know what to do once cycling was taken away, so I carried on and sadly it took me many years to get that undstandinfnand put things right, I've lost 6 stone give or take frommrhe first to second picture and have 3-4 stone more to lose, it's all been achieved with genuine healthy eating (both mentally and on the plate)
