I was just reading an article about studded tyres and the author made a point that had never occurred to me - unless you also wear studded shoes, be extremely careful when putting a foot down in icy conditions!

Out riding 6 out 7 days, this last week all on a road bike .Once the ice had cleared off the black top it was fine . Covered a good total mileage for the time year so well happy .
