Rick Astley & Blossoms play The Smiths started out like a Phoenix Nights audition and/or a Shooting Stars club singer round... but it really was cracking. Gonna have to check out Blossoms set now.
Working Mens' Club were OK, not as good as they were at the 6Music festival a few years back. It seemed like the singer had hogged all the drugs and the rest of the band were in a sulk because they didn't get any.
Maneskin were good but not really my cup of tea. Good solid foundation of bass and drums so the singer and guitar player can do what the feck they want. What is it with guitar players having to swap guitars after almost every song?
