I do have a Tanglewood LP copy, it does sound pretty good for a beast that was originally sold in a beginner starter pack, with an amp and cables, but I have it set up using Gibson's recommended settings as a start point, and tweaked it from there, but I can guarantee it would sound a damn sight better with Slash playing it! would be interesting to compare it to the real thing thoughBy contrast a Les Paul will always sound the same, you just need the skill to play it. And if it breaks you get a new one. (I suspect Slash can afford one, if he doesn’t get given them anyway)
