That set me thinking, we brits have a sense of humour whereby we often laugh at the things that we should not and I wonder if other nationalities are similar ?

Apparently other nations are constantly baffled / amused by the residents of these fair islands of our ability to laugh at ourselves and take the mickey at each other without offence.

I'm actually in fairly good shape for my age from a few years of rehab and exercise after a major illness; my goal is to maintain that as long as I can, and hopefully avoid the kind of long, lingering end some of my wife's friends went through.
