When is your favourite bike ride of the week?

I love evening rides, especially after a hot day. The colours of the setting sun are glorious and the air is refreshingly cool. The roads are quiet and you meet other cyclists who are also out riding for sake of it. Can't beat it: and you don't have to get up early to appreciate it

I love my Sunday morning ride, but I really fancy a sunrise one - what time would that be though lol?

If I've got a day off during the week, a ride out past Chartwell in Kent and then up Toys Hill is probably my favourite. Great country lanes and enough of a hill to give me a workout.

If I'm working I'd say the Tuesday morning commute, I've shaken off Monday and am not yet feeling any tiredness from commuting during the week. It's nearly always my fastest time.

I love evening rides, or afternoons on my day off. The evenings here are lovely, we can watch the river, the deer are often down in the paddocks and we can see the Buzzards riding the thremals. When we do get to do an early morning ride, its fantastic and we resolve to go out early more often. This never lasts sadly.

Sunday morning up at the crack of a sparrows kneecap- 25 miles in an hour 30 in the cotswolds (ish) then slap up brekkie cos Ive burned loads of calories (that's what I tell the missus' anyway)... ;-))

When the sun is shining, the sky is blue, the roads are smooth and the wind is absent. Otherewise early morning when the roads and tracks are quiet.
