Wheels and Tyres - A Beginners Guide

Useful info, muchly appreciated, especially since I need to buy some tyres. My MTB is in dire need of new ones; the front one is split and the rear is rather worn.

Odd describes my wheels too. Got 24 x 1.75 on the MTB. Soon-to-come new road bike has 650C...
