FBI has rather a nice building, actually.
Another nice hotel, now mostly apartments, down by Foggy Bottom in the D.C.

thread resurrection:

Have just taken delivery of a rather good book on modern architecture (various styles, not just brutalist):

"The future of architecture since 1889" = Jean-Louis Cohen

Really rather good - well worth the twenty odd quid it's currently going for

Correction for tilt of the camera, so it doesn't look like a pyramid. The farther to side one looks, however, the more distortion is apparent. If I were doing a job of this, I would correct all angles . It's so easy to do in Photoshop. Sure beats trotting out a 4x5 camera, dark bag, 20 film holders, a couple of lenses and a dark cloth, all to surmount a huge tripod.

No criticism of your photography intended, GA. Even if it doesn't swell towards the top, it's a blooming horrible building. A bit like an airport control tower on steroids.

So awful they tried to mask it behind trees, unsuccessfully.

Is this in Lewisham? And the multi-coloured thing in the previous post? I seem to remember that being in the news for someone bring murdered outside it or something in the last week or so.
