Eat a bit more on your ride is another option, if you finish empty your body is going to be desperate to replace the missing calories. Little and often rather than binging and food types in moderation (so fast food now and then, not always).
This is presuming it's bothering you.
I've found I have a really poor concept of how much food I'm eating which is why the only way I can maintain a weight is to keep a record of what I weigh so I have relatively early warning of it getting worse. Recording my weight once a week works well for me.
