4kg of phenol resorcinol timber adhesive, at eye-watering expense. £120.
On a weight for weight basis, it costs a bit less than Lidgate's Wagyu fillet steak, but that didn't ease my pain.

I can buy steaks at Lidl for under a fiver each. Unfortunately, they don't sell technical timber adhesives yet.

My seatpost came, so I fitted it. It was too long - I had bought a 400mm one, not knowing the difference. So I did some googling, had my tea, a bit more googling, some measuring and finally got mediaeval on it with a hacksaw. I also fitted a 135 degree noodle to my front v-brake, so now the cable goes neatly behind my dynamo headlight.
