Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Not bike-related but for son no. 2's 18th in July; In Lanzarote I saw in their Contemporary Art Museum - wierd but a lovely cafe with a nice view - a 'Lenin' metal stamp. It was about the only interesting thing there.

As son no. 2's doing Russian history/politics for his A-level and wants to focus on this for his degree I tracked one down in Italy, with it arriving today. Given the mirror version was an exhibit in a museum under £40 delivered seemed decent value as it is very weighty:

Also I picked up a pair of gold/pearl ear studs for SWMBO as it's our 30th anniversary this month (Pearl). They're 18ct gold and vintage, but I hope she likes them, and they also arrived today. £45 again seemed decent value:

There's a few bike bits en route, but they've not arrived yet :okay:

Those earrings are well pretty @DCLane - me likely. Classic and understated, you can't go wrong there. :okay:

My paternal grandfather knew Lenin. They met in a Russian gulag. :becool: They were both political activists, which is likely why both men gravitated together, even though they were from very different social backgrounds.

That is most probably the best claim to fame I've ever heard.
