Only scanned the thread briefly, but didn't see anyone mention track mitts. Great for absorbing handlebar vibrations on longer rides, if that's your thing

Cheers Garz,both holes are on the outside edge of the tube though.
Not having much luck at the mo' pun*t*re today,lost my back light on saturday(thankfully Tesco had some in stock for £1.25 so got 2:smile:) now my gears are playing up lbs said to take it in tomorrow probably cable stretch.

Trivia.

Fingerless leather mittens were introduced into cycling not to act as a cushioning against handlebar vibration, but to stop grit embedding into the palms when the rider takes a tumble.

Sound advice coruskate. ;)
