What would you rather take the family to see, a game of football or rugby?

Both worth a shout IMHO. LCFC top of League 1 and Tigers are not doing too bad. You can also watch the Tigers' Development XV for free.

I know really . I can enjoy union as well as league. I liked trying to wind up the tigers fans at work who originally believed I'd never heard of them. I live near the tigers training ground and I believe (but can't be certain) my old league teams coach has had a role at the tigers too (Phil Larder, former Great Britain rugby league coach and England Rugby Union defense coach).

As for football I could only ever have love for the not so mighty Bradford City Football Club. I dont have the time or money to watcheither inreality and have to settle for the occasional TV coverage when I have time.

I'm quite fond of 'The Tigers' as well.
Same here. I lived in Hull for 10 years and used to go and see the Tigers at Boothferry whenever I could...back when they were in Div 3/4...Windass was there (first time round) and Terry Dolan was at the helm.

What's happened to Boothferry now? Supermarket? Housing?

Football. It'd be a pretty mean run down the hill to Bramall Lane if I were a united fan.
D'you ever bomb it down the A61/Chesterfield Rd? That would scare the poo out of me, that would!

Abandoned and derelict. Was some gypos on the car park last time I went past.
Some of it has been demolished - the bits the vandals had left. Supermarket still standing.
Think there has been a lot of problems over the ownership of the land and the supermarket (Kwik Save) still holding a very long lease, despite it having gone bust years ago. It is going to have housing built on it, but who knows when with market in its present state.

Oval Park, Oadby? Just around the corner from me.

That's the one. You may see me riding past that way on a Sunday morning heading across to the back of Great Glen/Kings Norton way, if I'm not going down the Welford road or to the north of the city where I intend to investigate a bit more. Look for a fat bloke on a trek in one of a range of horrible, horrible jerseys. Or a flouresecent Jacket in this weather.

I attend matches in the family stand with a boy/boys and have sat in the same seat for a few years.
90 minutes of watching City can feel that long sometimes...

Has always been rugby for me, unfortunatley I have never had the chance to play! I grew up in the violent eighties when, mates from school where going to footy matches and getting in to fights?!

I am actualy looking to join a rugby club for the sake of my 3 boys, so any reccomendations would be gratefully recieved. South london area.

I was never a football fan,but now the odd big game might get me watching, but if there is a good film on the other side i watch that instead, rugby was an interest but not much more, and always get confused between league and union? Again still enjoy the odd game.

I go past the Oval ground (wigston rd) most days on my commute. Hi-viz'd up on a Spesh Sirrus or Allez.
