What was your mileage this year ?

Lowest mileage for many years here, down by about 1000 miles, mainly I guess due to the lack of commutes (18 mile round trip to Cambridge 2 or 3 times a week before COVID) and no tour either in the summer. So I’m now on 2209 miles on the main steed and probably a couple of hundred on the other. I’ll probably go for a quick scoot around the village later to finish on 2211.

Only 1409 miles of the 3000 I'd hoped for this year. All going to plan until Covid 19 came along and self isolation and shielding as a 'vulnerable person etc' curtailed any riding with club or friends. Any (6 riders only) club rides have been out of bounds and a then mid lockdown house sale, and the subsequent preparations for a long distance house move in September (not an experience I'd recommend in the midst of a pandemic) further limited cycling this year. Had hoped for a few more miles in the last days of 2020 but icy roads put paid to that!

2131 miles cycled/triked, did less this year, but I did 502 miles walking

3100 miles for me, not counting trips to local shops.

That's my biggest year ever, and felt good. Fifty to 75 miles per week feels about right for my 66 year old body and mind.

The miles were about evenly split between my homemade steel tourer and my aluminium Orro. Average speeds around 10 to 12 mph with 80000ft of climbing.

I'm happy with that!

13,579 km with about 230 km vertically.
My original goal was 11,111 km, then I went for 12,345, and finally a precise 13579.
More than I've done before and I strongly suspect I'll never exceed it.

4632.9 miles. Less than I was hoping for when we started the year but almost 450 miles more than I managed in 2019 so I'm content with that.

2011 miles, my highest yearly mileage to date. I’ve always hoped to get to 2000 miles, but previous best was 1788. Getting out for more shorter rides, has been the main reason, partly to keep me sane during a year of hell working in the NHS.

5018 miles which is my highest so far, I’ve worked all year so quite a few commuting miles included in that.

Only tend to venture out once a week due to other commitments, and I am a fair weather cyclist too. This year a total of 719 miles on the road bike, and perhaps 70 on the naff hybrid commuter. Not many but its more than the 481 road miles achieved in 2019.

Having averaged 3000 miles a year for the previous 7 years, thanks to lockdown I had the time to get my first 4000 mile year. 4362 to be precise. Happy 2021 everyone.
