On the subject of TV. Wasn't 'Doctor Who' produced by and shown on BBC? I see the latest edition is being shown on the Disney channel here in the US. How did that come about? Is it still a BBC effort?
I also noted from the ad blurb that the doctor has now changed gender and colour, does he still have two arms, two legs and one head, or is it now a complete WOKE balls up?

The Residence - a whodunnit set in the White House. Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes' in Orange is the New Black) is simply brilliant as the Washington Met Police super sleuth Cordelia Cupp. It follows classic whodunnit format (think Poirot) revamped for 2025; suspect interviews and their lies, slow reveals, step-by-step sleuthing. It adds a cracking script, wonderful performances and perfect pacing.

And dare I mention the Kylie guest appearance! And the wonderful Hugh Jackman running gag which will undoubtedly lead to his appearance at some point.

Laugh a minute, gentle entertainment and brilliant TV - thoroughly recommended. (On Netflix btw)

BBC now produce the show with Disney money - apparently it's the only way to make the show nowadays. Otherwise it's back to the 70s and shaky scenery with every alien planet looking awfully like a gravel pit near London.

I presume Disney insisted there can only be 8 seconds per hour without background music? (Can someone with the Disney Channel please confirm this on other shows?)

Doctor who was always "woke". He helped the oppressed, battled against tyrants and persecution, tried to protect the environment (Green Death, Land of the giants, Inferno), resisted the excesses of unfettered capitalism (Colony in Space, Sunmakers. Even the Daleks, his greatest enemies, are clearly based on the Nazis - he even criticised a collaborator for being a "Qusiling". What is more woke than battling actual nazis

Do they beat as one?

That's a very good question. I wonder if there's actually an answer to it in the volumes of Dr Who archives. If they had effectively 2 autonomous systems, both of which could independently drive the body, then maybe their beats could be wildly dissimilar... but if they were tied in any way, well, that could get weird for the internal organs.
