He is. He has some cracking lines too, lines that suit his deadpan delivery style. I thought it really good tv though I am quite sure it divides.

Having watched a few episodes my only gripe is the shoe -horning in of ex wife and daughter into the story line and boy are they tedious and annoying.

Hang in there, I know what you mean. They all serve a purpose, believe me, if only as recipients of some great BBT lines. I eventually found the mum and daughter double-act amusing in later episodes.

On a different note, I'd really like those who watch it to share what they think is going on with its obvious economic/political/environmental pokes. I'm undecided. It's clearly being provocative but I'm baffled as to why. It could be just fun. The characters are arguably stereotypes and not real, as exampled above, and so you can't really take the show too seriously. Let's just say that some of what BBT comes out with would have viewers googling the facts! I just let it make me laugh.

House. Started from season 1

That'd be an interesting watch, for the transition of House. I think we forget just what a horrid person he could be, and was portrayed in the early episodes (and continued to be in fairness, just less focus) Hugh Lawry made him likeable, almost loveable, certainly forgivable. Most longer running series do change to meet audience reaction/expectation and House was certainly one.
