Assume he's killed so many people by now there's not much of a challenge left

I hadn't realised there was a third series. I quite enjoyed the first two so I'll probably check it out. The books are pretty boring to be honest (I've read three and it was just the same thing with the locations changed), and clearly written to a very generic formula, but they've translated well onto the screen.

done the 1st two after finishing yellowstone series 5 .
I was rather enjoying the reboot of Bergerac until the final moments of the penultimate episode... where it was clear it was going down a well trodden path of crime drama clichés. Ultimately disappointing.

We quite liked it, much better than I thought it would be, we’ve also just finished Hidden Assets on iPlayer which was top quality TV
It would have been better without the now standard plot device of having the detective's son/daughter/wife/partner kidnapped as part of the finale. ...and pinning it on a side character at the last minute always feels like lazy writing to me.I quite enjoyed it. I watched the first one live then binged the remaining five episodes.
