What TV are you watching?

Last night I watched the 'Booze Traveler' on the Travel Channel.
The presenter was an American barman who seems to be going on a worldwide pub-crawl.
Last night he was in Australia. There was a token shot of the Sydney Opera House and one or two other landmarks but he spent most of his time in the local bars and seemed to be as drunk as the people he was interviewing.

Lucifer (Prime)
My current binge watching fix - very enjoyable, with the producers seeming to have realised what worked in the first series, and intensified that for the second. The Maze character, and the doctor have been beefed up, to the benefit of the second season.

Fargo (s3 - All4)
I'd not been that keen on this, not being a huge fan of Ewan MacGregor, but having caught up on the series from episode 3, I'm happy to admit that I was wrong. This series is shaping up very well indeed, I think, and the female cop double act forming in episode 5 is just brilliant.

Doctor Who (iPlayer)
The series ends, and I can't help feeling that it's a massive mistake to end Capaldi's tenure. He's really found his tone in this season (or the writers have figured out how to write him) and personally, I'd have liked a few more seasons of him and Bill roaming the galaxy.

Very late to Aaron Sorkin's Sports Night, which weirdly has a laugh track included, though it is quite subtle it remains unnecessary.

The soundtrack is quite odd, not there save the occasional bit of winsome soft rock style guitar behind the "serious" messages/moments.

All in, entertaining enough but it's no West Wing (as if anything could come close).

Canadian clone-drama Orphan Black has returned for its fifth and supposedly final series. It's never going to be as good as series one but it's still ticking along nicely.

Netflix -Salem.
It's quite good, but I expected it to be debunking the whole witchcraft nonsense, not running away with it like a mad thing.
When I forget I'm annoyed by it I quite enjoy it.

Now a scarcely believable 20 years old but still one of the finest films ever to grace the silver screen, so an unexpected treat to find it in the midweek schedules.
