He's always good, using the wreckage of a Spit that crashed on Dunkirk beach, not a restoration unless I missed something but a replica, albeit made correctly with original drawings, materials and engine type.
One standout for me was the wing mounting pins, during assembly one wouldn't fit, too tight. It transpired he'd had it in his hands for ages and it'd expanded with heat....this was about a 40mm diameter steel pin machined within one thou I think. They allowed it to cool and it slid in perfectly.
