I really need to get myself checked for autism or something. Saw this thread and thought "well it's a Panasonic and it's about 15 years old now, but I have no idea what model it is"

Just finished the last What We Do In The Shadows. Was good, but I think the show needed to end, there wasn't much more they could do with it.

Idiot - you're supposed to say "Living room"!!!

Think they've only shown S5.Ep1 Episode on BBC (I suspect you're talking about Series6!). Looking forward to watching the tape recording, amazing series - nothing else like it, and some great performances.:notworthy:

Plus I still don't know what's going on 🤣

I'm not sure you're meant to! At least, that's how I watch it. I get the gist, the broad strokes set up and plot, but I don't stress over every detail. I like its other world werdness and go along for the ride. I think of it as surface level fun nonsense rather than anything cerebral.

Though I do like the thought of folk pouring over every incident looking for hidden meaning!

I already have access to Series 5 and 6 too.
But like No Ta Doctor, I think it’s run it’s course. I am struggling to finish S5.

Surface is close to being ditched. Season 1 was ok, and had sufficient intrigue to keep you watching. Second season though has, I think, run out of steam.

Main protagonist has lost her memory, or significant portions of it, so is meeting up with an old acquaintance in the hope, I think, of remembering.... except she hasn't told her friend that her memory's gone (which might seem like a kinda obvious thing to do) and so we get her looking blank faced episode after episode. It's going seemingly nowhere until presumably some reveal. I'm losing patience though.

Yea I definitely don't try to hard to think about it...having never worked in a office environment I like to think it's something similar to say maybe the civil service 🤣
In the words of the great Milchick...
"Devour Feculence" and enjoy.

Currently binge watching the Beiderbecke affair. Seen it many times but we thought we’d have a bit of nostalgia.

I’m enjoying Protection. I might have to binge the rest as I’m not sure I can wait until next week.

Agreed.
Part 3 was simply stunning TV. The performances are superb.

Finished Adolescence earlier tonight. Not a lot really happens but I thought it was great.
The technique of filming each episode in one take is mind-boggling at times and is more than just a gimmick, I thought it added a lot of tension and urgency to the story.
