Last night's bit about Bob downing that bottle of lemonade had me crying with laughter.

I'm going to have to try it.

I didn't know there was a new series, I will get amongst post haste!

In a similar, gentle vein, I would recommend The Detectorists. Which is fictional, but a lot of fun. I may have recommended it on here before.

I Am Burt Reynolds

A documentary/affectionate tribute on SKY-Arts channel
From his College years, through starting acting, to the end

After over 40 years, 'Hooper' & 'Smokey & The Bandit' (first one) are still 2 of my top films of all time

There was only one film released in 1977, that took more money than 'S & T B' (from release to the present day) that was Star-Wars
I'll freely admit, I've never seen it, only a few clips

Although I find Bob and Paul perfectly watchable, Detectorists was a class above. Just a brilliant, unique piece of television. Even the music is class. 👍

Yeah, enjoyed that (also screened about a month ago, like most Sky-Arts stuff). I thought I'd find off-screen Burt a massive pr*ck, but no, not at all. I mean I wouldn't want him to marry my child, but ... well anyway ...

p.s. Star Wars is pretty good too!

I managed 1 episode....did it get any better ?

This was a complete waste of three hours of my life. Far and away THE worst POS ever broadcast at 9pm on BBC1. A shoddy box-ticking exercise with a very poor unbelievable 'story' with not one single thing to recommend it. It was an embarrassment of an attempt at entertainment. And Keeley Hawes was executive producer! This will stand as a real black mark on her CV.

I was going to catch up on it. I don’t think I’ll bother then.

Just watched All Creatures Great and Small. Enjoying it.

Started watching Rings of Power on Prime.

Hopeless acting virtually from the off - very wooden and as though they were just reading lines from a script.

Dross - kids may well like it though.

Watched a Wheeler Dealer then switched over to Prime to watch that, but got sidetracked & watched a couple episodes to Private Affair think it's Spanish made dubbed, okay if you take your brain out before watching.
