They leak really badly through wear, when I go for a sup I get my squash all down my chest.
What have you been doing to them - I've used mine for about 10 years or 25,000+ miles and they are still okay!

That might be because the bottles are crap and leak around the lid's thread when squeezed, I have a bottle that dump's my drink all over my chest too, I don't use it anymore. Good for holding a waterproof though, relativelly small bottle with a wide opening

These aren't the high five ones are they? I can't get on with them as drinks bottles but they do have a wide neck so good for storage.

Yup, that's it exactly, they're crap, but boy are they cheap!

Not sure if this offer is still on but probikekit were selling High 5 bottles for 2 or 3 pound with 5 different supplement samples. A gel, a gel with caffeine, an energy drink powder sachet, a recovery drink powder sachet and a caffeine and electrolyte drink tablet. I bought a load of them, the bottles are fine, not great, but they work and don't leak, the valve is a bit loose so doesn't always stay open after pulling it, but buying a load of those you definitely get your money's worth.

I am not a big supplement user tbh (but if you need bottles and they have an offer like this, it is pretty much a no brainer. The gel's go down easy and seem okay, I used a few on a recent audax because I couldn't possibly carry any more food than I was already carrying.

Cross posted, but, why not? Other than loose valve they seem good to me! I have a whole stack of them behind the living room door, all bought in max quantity with each probikekit order on some recent purchases. Excellent VFM when bought in larger quantities with the supplement samples.

I just prefer the ones where you pull out the rubber stopper with your teeth and it stays like that and you squeeze the bottle or suck and push the stopper back in when you are done. I usually use the Sis or Decathlon ones. It is just personal preference. I used a High 5 one on the Great Manchester Cycle and it was a right pita, drink everywhere. Probably would have been better if I got used to using it on a somewhat more relaxed ride so it was a tad more intuative.

The SIS bottles are better, I agree. But with bottle's, I tend to just go with the best VFM at the time, so usually ones stuffed with samples

Yup, I bought another six bottles this morning. The goo and powders come in handy on longer rides.
