dunno, I have my hybrid set up with Marathon winters ready for an overnight surprise & I've managed to pick my routes in icy conditions to avoid the worst bits of my commute and stay upright.

Not stopped me yet. Only one day of missed cycling since mid November. Not even ridden my new CAADX purchased for more extreme winter weather; still looking pretty in my bedroom.

Commuted home this morning and the back roads were covered in ice where the rain had frozen ,pretty hairy on unlit lanes .Did a nice couple of wheel spins turning right here at about 5.40 am
