Ok well tell us what YOU would have done then.
You've got a bike to sell, you've got some guy who may or not be coming, on a bus (but you don't know that), and you've got some guy offering the asking price. What do you do?

I would have sold. I've bought and sold many second hand cars and other things in my life (I'm a bit of an Arthur Daley in my spare time) and I've had many potential buyers promise to turn up and didn't. I've had buyers who did turn, promise to buy and come back with the money later and have never heard from them again. I've had potential buyers agree a price and turn up to pay the following day and makeIf I'm selling something, the first person to turn up with money gets it. And nothing leaves my sight without payment. It might seem unfair but business is business.
