When people get months off work with sick pay for depression when there is really nothing wrong with them.

When people get suspended from work with pay but nothing happens in their disciplinary so in effect have had some extra holidays given for nothing.

I am still a smoker, I have just changed my method of getting the drugs into my system.
I have been vaping for over a year now & saved a packet on real fags.

Couldn't ever go back to real stuff now, I much prefer the taste of my fruit flavours over Lambert & Butler & there's no smell.

Some lads I know, and some complete strangers have come over & stood next to me & asked what flavour it was because they liked the smell.

I would love to kick it all together, having had Champix twice from the Doctor, gum, patches & plain old cold turkey with a (tiny) dose of willpower.

Huge +1. Buying an e-cig was possibly the best thing I ever did. I loved my fags, couldn't imagine life without, now hate it if anyone smokes anywhere near me. I visited the opulent gardens of a local stately home on Sunday while out on my bike, something I have done many times and only really went to photograph my pre-war roadster outside the mansion but spent hours wandering around the garden in harmony with nature and enjoying and marvelling at the fact that I could really enjoy the smell of all the flowers - something I never noticed when I smoked.

Sitting in the car at traffic lights the other day with the window open, the car in the other lane to my right had a woman smoking out the passenger window and the smoke was drifting into my car and I was so tempted to get out and forceable remove the fag from her hand and jump up and down on it

I used to think that too, now I wouldn't smoke if you paid me.

I believe they are much better (I never tried the early incarnations).

I have found that spending a little extra on the hardware to start with greatly enhances the experience.

Some of the cheap e-cigs leak, are difficult to fill & parts burn out quickly.

I find it can still take the edge off if you can be a little stressed like myself.

Still would love to quit completely though.

I once worked out that I could buy a quality guitar or bike every year if I quit completely, around 2 to £2.5k.

I too am on the vape but a different (newer) type called clearvape, no aroma at all but it tastes like a roll-up. Agreed to pack up for 12 weeks to see if my leg will knit back together with this 2nd pin/ IM Nail, after that who knows but I really miss rolling up a fag after smoking them since "readymades" went over a quid for 20
