It's not just old ladies - it tends to be women generally, I find. Most men have their wallet out and are ready to pay as soon as the stuff has been scanned.

Runs off before theclaud gives him *The Stare* for such a blatant generalisation about the laydeez...

That is because women pack the bags so your hands are free to take out your wallet at any time

Unlikely I'd be shopping with a woman (unless it was my mum)...

Never go shopping with a woman unless you want a simple task like buying a Father's Day card to turn into a 4 hour epic saga involving going to every card shop in town, buying all sorts of shoot along the way which was dumped into my rucksack before returning to the first one we visited to buy the first card she looked at :cry::surrender:

  • People who crowd the doorway areas on trains instead of moving down the carriage, or even worse, when there are clearly seats available.
  • People who sit in the disabled area / bike area of a train when they are not disabled or do not have a bike and there are clearly other seats available.
  • People with BSO's on trains that slam them up against my bike.
  • Cancelled trains leaving me with the decision to either wait an hour for the next one or cycle 30 miles home in the rain.
  • Ridiculous time gap between trains on the line I use.
  • Train ticket prices.
  • Trains.

You forgot people with folding bikes that don't bother folding them. I reckon it could go between numbers 3 and 4...

People who swim like they're the only one in the pool/lane, never adjusting their speed, position or timing one iota to fit in with other swimmers.
