The ability to recognise the different types of hammer is what turns a mechanic into a technician, as is knowing which part of the offending item to hit and how hard to hit it while swearing in time with the blows. Once that important skill has been mastered an advanced course in gaffer taping will take one to the very top of the profession.

A good understanding of electronic systems and wiring seems to be becoming a desirability for the future with electronic group sets. Many LBS really do not know what to do with these systems when they go wrong.

LOL I will indeed mate. They don't use the caravans now, in fact they're looking to retire but just keep getting busier!
