Iām really pleased with it, just a few minor jobs to do and then it will be up for sale. I almost kept it, but I really donāt need three!

Indeed- very impressive, and also very quickly executed!
All finished, fitted the cables this afternoon and the chain, realised the front wheel was in back to front so I refitted that, plus checked it all over and torqued everything up. Unfortunately the weather is so horrible here I didnāt get a chance to road test it.
The only remaining job is to fit the new rear mudguard blade but Iāll do that absolutely last thing, as I donāt want to scratch it.
Iāll ride it for a few weeks to iron out any bugs and then itāll be up for sale.
Total costs (including the bike) was Ā£520, plus Iāve estimated I used another Ā£65 worth of stuff I already had in boxes in the garage. So an expensive restoration but Iām very pleased with how itās come out.
