I’m not sure these are ‘odd’ 🤷‍♂️ And so surely can’t be the only people into these……

I once bought a tea spoon back from the Hilton hotel in Paphos and it's still at my parents.

An in law bought all family members a full size dijeredo ( or however you spell it ) back from Australia a few years ago it still resides under the stairs.

Once brought a 6 man tent from Calais and a trolley to carry it (foot passengers in early 2000s) and the 6 boxes of wine that were really cheap.

Gurka knife, soon after 9/11 back from India in hold luggage.

My mum and dad bought a Corgi pup while we were on holiday in Blackpool in 1970. While walking past Talbot Road pet shop they noticed some Corgi pups in the window. After looking at them they picked one which is in the photo below, being held by my brother, with me in the middle of the three. The shop's owner earmarked the pup with the letter H in its ear, which was/is the first letter of our surname. We then collected the pup at the end of our holiday. She cost 8 guineas by the way.:okay:

I have a pair of "farmers pliers" I bought in a hardware shop in the middle of nowhere in South West France.
Very good they are too!
