Tried once , but it was a scam, got money back. If you know a UK retail supplier for 9 speed. be grateful for the link.
My LBS used to source the rolls for me ,cheaper than 3 chains for the timing and drive chain on the tandem. Dont you trust the internet or did you fall for the cheapest option that was too good to be true.🤔. Also good quality connex quick links are expensive now.

Well I went for an option cheaper than buying separate chains but don’t have a view on what their price should be. Because there were next to zero that came up in my search, there was no gauge to compare against. How much did you pay for yours and what year? At the time I could get a 116 link 9 speed for £5.99.

Finally got round to fitting brake cables and derailleur cables to this kg 386 frame which l bought some time ago.
Went for a quick trial run and discovered a not altogether unexpected result. I've allowed far to little slack in the sheathing. End result is that turning the bars from one side to the other apart from turning the wheel , also changes gears with both front and rear mechs.
Oh well , l guess that what l find aesthetically pleasing is not practical in this instance :banghead:

Have you got the left hand lever operating the front brake because you are in US or on the continent?
The brake cables look short to me, as well as the derailleur cables.

Cables should be under the tape all the way, but all of them are too short.
