Not for my bike but for me when riding it - Blue Morgan Solid chamois cream.

Lol, I needed a cleat spacer before I could use my new mtb/gravel shoes. I thought I had one but I had actually used it for new mtb boots I'd got for Christmas. So I ordered one this morning along with a few other items I had in my virtual shopping basket, that I'll need/use at some point. On the train tonight I get a message all the other items were out for delivery (not the spacer I actually need now) and I just got home before they were delivered. It was actually not bad timing in the end as it let me receive it in enough time to set up tonight's turbore session 😉

A pair of Token TK170C carbon fibre jockey wheels via an eBay auction where I threw a bid in. They're very nice and weigh just 14g for the pair, but are 10 tooth Campag rather than 11 tooth Shimano. Proper WeightWeenies stuff. I'll keep them for a retro bike or Campag re-build if one appears. Clearly I didn't look at the tiny text on the photo enough as the written description was wrong.

Also a pair of Madison large long finger Spring/Summer gloves to give my re-built index finger a bit more space.

An expensive (I thought) Pissei Summer jersey; and some Madison Freewheel Track shorts.

Now…..where’s that sun ☀️

Dead boring, but fitted a new RH shifter hood (Shimano 5700), as the old one had got to the stage where it would randomly rotate on the hood. Actually bought two pairs while I was at it, as they don't last that long, and I suspect that the 10-speed hood version might not be around for ever.

I am getting set up to start using Zwift. I have a JetBlack Victory smart trainer on order but that is (or will be) on the slow boat from Vietnam so I won't get it until mid-February...
It got further delayed!

The longest delivery time that I have experienced in over half a century of shopping!

The Fizik carbon seatpost I used for the Ridley Fenix build is too short and, when set for my height, is beyond the minimum insertion line.

So I bid on a longer Specialized S-Works carbon post which should arrive in the next few days.

I ordered some 6806 sealed bearings. I need one to fix my winter-wrecked bottom bracket but thought that I might as well have a few spares.

They arrived today, a week after being despatched on 48 hour delivery!

Ditto for the bearing puller that I ordered at the same time from elsewhere. Seems like RM are the cause of the delay!

It is fairly obvious where I got it from! :okay:

A nicely-made little tool which I couldn't wait to use to extract the bearing which had been killed by one winter's worth of riding without mudguards. 2 minutes later...

Excellent!

(You can see the state of the bearing (the brown ring), which was on the inside of the bottom bracket. The outside was even worse.)
