What happened to vegetarians?

They used to sell dogfish as rock cod.

Used to be a common name for it. When I was early teens on family holiday in Scotland one early evening went fishing 'cos a shoal of dogfish were off the rocks. Caught loads and hotel cooked them for us for supper and they were calling it Rock Cod.
