What gadgets do we all play with.

Other hobbies, Have always had radio control. Raced multi hulls, flown planes helicopters, raced electric buggies, Have always enjoyed sailing, I am now playing with a radio controlled sail boat, We meet up in the middle of the week and race them. really relaxing, Am one of the youngsters in the group, (youngster at 66) I t makes achange from the bike.

Can't remember the exact figure quoted but my first job as a scaffold contractor was to provide access to the stern of a brand new one as it was being fitted out. The owner took great pains to explain that not a single tube could hit the boat as the protective gel coat alone was 70 odd k.

As the boat yard was next door to mine, I would go in every couple of months over the next 2 years to admire the work the boys were doing and what a view from the cockpit. The shape of the newly timber clad deck was a thing of beauty I've yet to see being repeated.

Had a little go with rc planes and cars, always wanted a helicopter but boats don't really float mine, I'm a bit younger and like things travelling faster.

That was before I had kids though, now I just work to pay the bills, maybe every now and again I get a playstation game.. does that count?

That boat does look nice though, the shape of those kind of boats is nice to look at and the real things glide effortlessly and elegantly and all that.. Just need more speed. Maybe as I mature my ideas may change I guess.

Not really a gadget person, but this just reminded me to dig out my kite.

Always wanted one as a chi!d,but never got one.
So I bought one for a coup!e of years ago as a present to myself
