OK, maybe time for a change of frame. I'm guessing you're not one of the two bidders for this one, currently on offer by the legendary giant of Cupar?

I'd say big for your height unless long of torso and short of leg. Did you try it out before purchase?
Try an 80mm stem?

A bike fit would be a waste of cash IMO if the frame is simply too big
No vickster it was an ebay purchase mate picked it up for me. I thought it too good to miss having been owned by a guy employed by an LBS and had loads of upgrades.

I'm a short arse, five foot six, on a modern frame I'm usually riding a 52cm frame, though I can go up to a 54cm, these days I normally take more notice of the top tube length than the seat tube length, if the top tube length is between 53.5 cm and 54cm the frame will usually fit. These days bike sizing can be a bit of a nightmare, the best thing is to actually go and sit on the bike and work out what fits you.

If we are talking cm then I ride either a 57 or 59. I am exactly six feet tall and the smaller frame was custom made for me. Angles were adjusted to give a slightly longer top tube and the stem is longer. The geometry and gearing is racier than the larger frame.

Both bikes have a proper horizontal top tube. That probably makes a difference.

6'2" and I have a 61cm.

I used to feel too stretched to the hoods, but I don't feel so much now it just took getting used to; a smaller frame of the same bike would be too small for me I think, so adjustment for me would be stem length.

My first road bike was a 58cm Specialized Secteur . My current one is a 54cm Cinelli Experience. Both bikes are set up with same saddle/pedal/bar positions, but the Cinelli is so much more fun to ride. I don't know why.

I'm 1812 mm tall.

I'm 5'10"ish. My daily ride is a 54cm Croix de Fer, 545mm ETT with a 100mm stem. Best bike is a M/L SP!N Spitfire, 550 ETT with a 130mm stem. I used to think the CdF was a perfect fit but it's started feeling a little small since I bought the SP!N, which stretches me out nicely. I'll put a longer stem on when I can be bothered.
