What film did you watch last night?

I fancy watching a decent film tonight and have popped back in here for some inspiration.... I have a fairly large collection of DVDs, although mostly from a few years ago, as I stopped buying them as regularly, in the past couple of years...

Safe House. Never heard of it - who is in it?
Heat. Got it but watched it in the past year
Hurt Locker. Got it on Blue ray (first BR I bought) and was dissapointed!
A Lonely Place To Die. Same as Safe House
Green Zone. Got it on Blue ray (second BR I bought) and was impressed but watched it in the past year
Shawshank Redemption. The classic! but watched it in the past year
Green Mile. I don't have it and I find it a bit depressing
The Dark Knight. I don't have it
Layer Cake. Got it - a possible!!
Training Day. Got it but watched it in the past year
Alien 1,2 +4 ( 3 was aweful) I don't own any of them but have seen them many times. 2 was the best!

Did I mention that I take absolutely ages trying to decide what to watch, then often lose interest and turn it off half way through or start doing something else

Watched The Avengers (or as it's called over here Avengers Assemble) in 3D.

Was very disappointed. The 3D was outstanding. The script wasn't bad. A typical Joss Whedon film - if you're a fan you'll probably think it the greatest thing ever made, if you're not a fan of Whedon you'll think there was a lack of character development, strong characters just lobbed in the pot all together and lots of bangs and special effect that mean a ruined plot.
