I am coming to the bottom of the neflix offerings and that bizarre Top Picks for ACJ or You May Also Like is a joke. I watched Twelve Years a Slave and they suggested every movie with a black person in it ever made.

Set in post apocalyptic australia, Guy Pearce has his car pinched then spends the remainder of the film following said car and killing people until, well I don't want to spoil it but it wasn't very exciting. 2/10

Assuming you're not already, get acquainted with Shane Meadows' stuff. He makes very good films for very few £££.

I saw Run All Night at the cinema.
Crap title, reasonable film, if a bit formulaic.

Ed Harris was good, unsurprisingly.

6.5/10 : wait for DVD.

Paddy Considine is absolutely phenomenal in anything... i didn't even recognise him in Submarine the first time round... and the more said about Le Donk the better! (now there's a film that i reckon was worth every penny of the fifty grand or so it cost)

Very true.

He's also in a very good band called Riding the Low. Had a chat with him after a gig I saw and he's a thoroughly decent bloke.

Raging bull with deniro...been many a year since I've watched it but still an excellent film....

If I was forced to pick a Scorsese favourite at gunpoint, it would be Raging Bull. An amazing piece of cinema.

At the other end of the scale, I've just watched about half of Malibu Shark Attack.

F£cking horrendous. So bad it's not even worthy of B Movie status.

As Above So Below.Another `real` footage movie about some people exploring a cave like system.I found it quite dull and didnt actually see it to the end.So a mere 3/10 from me.

Poor storyline.

Felt no emotional involvement with the weak lead characters.

Every American war hero cliche crammed into the movie.

Rubbish, and way over-hyped.

1/10 (1 for the helicopters - I like helicopters!)
