Walking Tall - A soldier returns to his hometown to find it's been taken over by gangsters and a crooked sheriff, it stars The Rock and Johnny Knoxville, can you guess the rest?

A nice bit of uncomplicated good guy/bad guy violence.

Do The Rock and Johnny Knoxville fall madly in love? Then the sheriff and the gangsters are so touched by their blossoming romance that they forget their evil ways and help turn the town into a forward thinking commune which becomes the envy of the world? Something like that?

They all seem to get a good grip of each other, and there's plently of fists flying around.

I don't want to spoil it for you though.

I missed post 381 but I've seen it too, as has Mrs RM. Four of us makes a club right? We should have badges and stuff!

I actually preferred the interview with the screenwriters if I'm honest, though I was impressed with Radcliffe. Outside the Harry Potter universe he's proving a very capable young actor, and I suppose he was decent enough in that too, I'm just not a fan.

Magic.

Its been twenty years since i last saw this and it stands the test of time.A truly great thriller with a Corking performance from Anthony Hopkins. And if you know the movie you may just get the punchline in that last statement. Can anyone guess what it is?

<slow clap> I see what you've done there sir. Bravo. </slow clap>

Magic's a bit of a funny one for me. Great cast and script, but the film seems somehow laboured and heavy handed. Never really understood why.

Star Trek - Into Darkness. I expected it to be awful but I really enjoyed it. It was better than the first one.
I recall spending the 2nd half of that film thinking "I can't believe this is this good!" I was only expecting a half decent yet predictable sci-fi romp, but it was anything but predictable.

Last night I watched Grand Designs... have these people never heard of curtains?
