A paint by numbers story of a young girl possessed by an evil force that comes out of an old box that she buys at a yard sale.
Parents getting divorced - 👍
Mum's got a new boyfriend - 👍
Youngest daughter turns sinister - 👍
The help of a priest (or a rabbi in this case as the box is of Jewish origin) is sought - 👍
Big dramatic struggle to see off the baddie - 👍
It looks like mum and dad might get back together in the end - 👍
All the standard parts are there but there's not many moments that make you jump.
It's a poor man's version of The Conjuring.
