and the person at the till says

it has been processed for you and the company that you work for
I am quite happy to walk out with the food and not pay - I am only paying because you want me to

so it hasn;t "gone through for me" - it has "gone through" for you

Or worse, “myself”. People think using “me” is somehow informal and “I” or “myself” are somehow better spoken, but in using them incorrectly expose their lack of eloquence.
